Our Philosophy

We offer the opportunity to all of our students who wish to complete to attend off-site team. We offer this so our students have the opportunity to present the skills they are learning with winning is continuing to move forward with their skills. We focus on the horse and rider combination as a whole.

Training at Shows include:

  • Warm-up sessions and in-class coaching as needed
  • Course walks and test reading assistance
  • Trainer or a staff member working through any issues with student and horse privately as needed
  • After class discussion on ride with the trainer regarding what was good, what needs improvement, and what new goals to set for the next class or competition.

Training at Show Pricing:

  • $150 per day—for up to two horses
  • $100 per day—for up to four horses
  • $60 per day—for five or more horses
  • $35 per class—for the trainer to show the horse + class entry fee
  • $50 per day—for the trainer to show the horse + class entry fee
  • $50 Entry—video taping + upload and sending
  • USDF fees are to be paid as needed

* Rates above are intended as per horse, per option.

Hauling Services

Trailering to shows is available for all training horses, whether they are owned by GMF or are student owned.

  • There is a minimum hook fee of $75 per trip to the venue (may be split if two or more horses hauled in trailer).
  • Mileage of $3 per mile per horse (these costs are dependent upon prevailing fuel prices)

Travel & Trainer Overnight Considerations

Costs will be added depending on the mileage traveled.
